First, we had a breakfast at the school and then we explored the school campus and classes. After that we played fun orienteering game which was organized by Icelandic’s. There were presentations about the program on what we’ll be doing and about “Heimahöfn”.

Next, we presented Finnish performances, and the Norwegians presented Norwegian performances. Then it was the turn of the Skinney-Þinganes fish factory. The factory was interesting and smelled of fish. They told us about the history of Höfn and how the factory got started, it was really interesting!

In the evening, everyone picked a sport to join and spent time there. Some of us watched volleyball or football, while others went swimming.

After that, we had hot soup for dinner, which was really nice after a long day. Later, we watched a movie together—American Pie. It had some weird scenes about relationships, so not everyone wanted to watch it. Overall, it was a fun and interesting Monday in Iceland!
