Hi, my name is Smári and I’m 16 in my first year in FAS. I live in a small town called Höfn with around 1800 people living here. I like Höfn but it has its ups and downs. Everything is close here, but everyone knows everyone and everything. I live with my mom, my stepdad and my two twin siblings. I am the oldest by far.

In my school I am learning high level sports, and I play basketball, and I play with my team and the men’s adult team here. Basketball has been my favourite hobby since 5th grade and I love it, I watch the NBA and my favourite team is the Chicago Bulls. I like school here, it’s very cozy.

In the summer I work in the trash resort as a trashman. It might not sound like fun but it’s chill to work there and the money is very good.
