Hi, my name is Elín Ósk Óskarsdóttir. I am 17 years old and live in a small town in Iceland called Höfn. I am starting my second year in FAS.

I have two siblings, my brother Ari is 13 years old, and my sister Dagmar is turning 21 years old. My father is Óskar, 49 years old, and Íris Heiður, 48 years old, is my mom. They run a company called Iceguide which they started in 2010. Iceguide offers kayak tours in the summer and ice caves and glacier walks in the winter.

My favourite thing to do is spending time around our horses and go horsebackriding with my cousin Ída. Our little dog Panda is with us all the time. She is a purebred Icelandic sheepdog. I also love to do new things, especially outside, travel and bake.

I decided to participate in the project because I‘ve heard great things. I‘m also excited to experiance a new environment, culture and meet new people!
