Today the big trip started. We met at school 7:45. <\/span><\/span>The trip went well but we had to stop at every possible spot except Selfoss (where our original stop was supposed to be). We stopped in V\u00edk for 45 minutes because the driver needed to rest and during the stop we explored the whole IceWear store a few times, amazing place. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We had to drive through Reykjav\u00edk because there is a volcanic eruption close to the Blue Lagoon and the road on the south side of the Reykjanes peninsula is closed.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

We arrived at the Konvin hotel at around 16:00 and just got settled in our rooms. We then ate dinner at 18:30 at the hotel\u2019s restaurant, it was very good. After dinner we went to our rooms again and just got ready for the night ahead. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Alexandra and Adam didn\u2019t go with us from H\u00f6fn today. Alexandra was singing in the Upper Secondary school singing competition and Adam was competing in a football match. <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The weather was okay, we left 5 hours earlier than the original plan due to harsh winds. We luckily missed the wind just like we planned and only had small gusts where the weather was worst. But the sky was clear and sun shining which was amazing.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Tomorrow we have to get up very early and we will have a long day ahead until we arrive in Br\u00f8nn\u00f8ysund. We are really looking forward meeting our partners again.<\/p>\n
