The last days passed very quickly and suddenly it was time to say goodbye.<\/p>\n

The Norwegian’s journey home<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Our early departure at 8 o’clock was sad for many. We said our last goodbyes to our hosts and new friends, then we drove home. On our way home we stopped at Haparanda\/Tornio, Arvidsjaur and T\u00e4rnaby before we got home.\u00a0<\/span><\/span>On our way home we spotted wind mills and reindeers.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n


\nWhen we were at Vaala we got many new friends and some new experiences, and the most important is that we had fun, we brought this with us, chatting with many of the others on the bus.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Icelander’s journey home
\n<\/strong>The group had lunch at the school before leaving for Oulu. Our flight to Helsinki was at 14:30. There was a slight delay on the flight to Iceland. We landed in Keflav\u00edk at 5 pm Icelandic time and then we had 500 km to drive. As on the way to Finland, we ate dinner at KFC in Selfoss. It was 2 o’clock when we got home and we had then been traveling for 18 hours.<\/span><\/p>\n

Last week was fun as we learned a lot of new things, met a lot of new people, and got to know life in another country. Although this was not a long time, many new friends were made. It will be nice to meet again in Iceland next spring.<\/p>\n
